Q. Is the product dangerous?

The product is environmentally friendly and is not classified as Dangerous Goods.

Q. Does it give off any fumes?

No. Heritage Anti Slip does not emit noxious fumes.

Q. Will it change the feel of the surface of my tiles?

No. The feel of treated surfaces remains unchanged unlike other anti-slip products which are Hydrofluoric Acid, or Ammonium Bifluoride based.

Q. How often should I clean the tiles?

To maintain the anti slip characteristics of the Heritage Anti Slip, the surface should be cleaned with a non abrasive regular household detergent at least once a month.

Q. Will the treated surface meet international Safety Standards?

Yes. The product meets the requirements of the EU, Germany, UK, Australia and USA.

Q. Can the cleaning waste liquid be disposed of down the drain?

You may dispose of cleaning waste water as you would any other household chemical.

Q. Will waste water damage plants and grass?

The cleaning waste liquid will be heavily diluted with rinse water and should have no effect on plants or grass.

Q. How big an area will my 250ml bottle of anti-slip cover?

Up to 3 square meters.

Q. Can I purchase this product in the shops?

No, it is only available through our direct order service.

Q. Can I use on any surface?

It is suitable for all porcelain, ceramic & granite tiles and surfaces.

Q. How long will it last before having to apply another coat?

If cleaned regularly it can last several years.

Q. Will it stain my tiles?

No, but on some hard tiles the treatment may need to be left on for up to 4 minutes to provide an effective grip. Please test in an inconspicuous area to check for shine discoloration.

Q. It is more expensive than other brands on the market. Why?

You only need to apply the one coat if directions followed correctly and will last much longer than cheaper brands before having to reapply.
